Le Présidium AIM s’est réuni le jeudi 27 avril à Marrakech avec des mutuelles marocaines de soins de santé membres de notre association. Le Présidium a été informé de la situation du système de santé du pays et des développements récents liés au mouvement mutualiste marocain.

OECD Consultation: sustainable access to innovative therapies

oecd logoAIM contributed to an OECD Online Consultation on sustainable access to innovative therapies. AIM is of the opinion that a broad political and societal discussion is needed about what a fair price is for pharmaceuticals. Discussions about fairness of prices require transparency of prices, transparency of costs made in the field of R&D  and require better insight in the efficacy and relative effectiveness of pharmaceuticals. 26 April – AIM publishes its position on social economy. The paper lays out AIM members’ position on the key concepts of ‘social economy’ and explains why mutuals fit in this category and the importance of a clear definition of the concept. The document also outlines the specific policy needs of social economy enterprises with a focus on mutuals.
