We are glad to announce that Thomas Kanga-Tona has just started in AIM’s Secretariat as Project Manager. Thomas has a four-year experience working for the consultancy Burson-Marsteller Brussels and brings to AIM his solid knowledge of the EU agenda on medicines and access to treatment. Thomas has worked on the sustainability of health systems, digital healthcare, medical devices, contraception, clinical trials, rare diseases, alcohol consumption. He also took leading roles in the organisation of one-to-one meetings or conferences with representatives of the European Parliament, members of the European Commission or representatives of the Council. He also took roles in the development of online and offline communications materials for his former employer. While Thomas will be working on all projects within AIM he will be more prominent in the fraud and long-term care working groups. He will also specifically take over AIM’s work with African members and partners.
Thomas is French and has studied European affairs. He is a native French speaker but also speaks English and German.
